                 Entries Close - 31st August

It’s time again – to enter your latest Triptych creations in the 2019 Nelson National Triptych Salon.
Your entries can be landscape, vertical, round or any shape you like.
If you you cannot create triptychs with the software on your computer, go to the “How to…” section on the Nelson National Triptych Salon website and follow the “How To…” instructions using the latest “2019 Faststone” image editing software. Faststone is free and easy to use.
Here are the major rules for this event but please read all the rules and conditions on the Triptych website:

  • Each of your triptych entries should consist of three images only.

  • There should be a clear division between each image with no overlapping of images.

  • There should not be a fourth image on the background.

  • There is to be no text or titles on the background. Text within any of the images is allowed.

  • All entries are to be projected images.

When you create your triptych, this first file should be of a larger file size. At least 1MB.  Save this as your “Master File” and keep it.  Make a smaller file size copy to send to us as your entry according to the Rules for Entry.  Should your entry receive a high award we’ll ask you for a copy of your “Master File” from which we’ll make a large display print for exhibition.
The special awards for this year will be for the best
Open, Monochrome, Humour & Abstract entries.

Please be aware there is a slight change in the rules. We have added:-
Text within the image is allowed but there must be NO text or titles on the background.
