Triptych – The word comes from the Greek roots "tri," meaning three, and "ptysso," meaning to fold. Traditionally, a triptych was a religious artwork made up of three panels, with the two side panels folding over a larger central one.
In modern usage, a triptych refers to any group of three related artworks that are intended to be viewed as a unified set, often telling a visual story or sharing a common theme.
