Well, what a night, SOLD OUT

Auckland Clubs Unite for a Dynamic Night of Photography! NSPS - welcomed everyone.

Photographers from across Auckland, along with several enthusiastic newcomers, joined us at NSPS to share in our common passion—photography!

A massive thank you to Peter Eastway for guiding us through the evolution of photography in 2024. His insights affirmed that NSPS is spot-on with our forward-thinking vision. We're proud to be a progressive club that empowers everyone to explore and enjoy photography in all its diverse and exciting forms.

At NSPS, we embrace change and celebrate the unique styles of our members. Whether you're shooting with film, digital, or even experimenting with AI, your creative path is yours to explore. We don't do cookie-cutter; we thrive on challenges that push us to grow!

A big congratulations to Gail Stent, who won the magnificent Canon printer—what a surprise for ticket #13! Jay from Photogear generously gave everyone a $10 gift voucher to use in their new store, thank you Jay and his team!  We had the chance to handle Canon’s latest range of cameras—my credit card is about to get a workout!

We also had two other fantastic spot prizes from Canon of Selphy printers and loads of cool merch! A huge thank you to Joseph Aton and Canon for your ongoing support—it means the world to us.

Peter was inspiring, direct from NZIPP and running Masterclass workshops we all listened to his narrative and saw his jaw-dropping images! Peter has a very insightful view of what the future holds in photography so let's all buckle our gear bags because 2025 is going to be a cracker! As soon as I can I will send the links to his very generous discount for his magazine and book.

Supper - yum, what a treat, thank you to everyone who popped into the kitchen and helped out, other clubs remarked that our members are all so friendly and loved visiting us so  WHAT NEXT....well we have plans!

Thank you to everyone who helped put the room back together as well. Many hands make light work and as always we all pitched in so huge thank you on behalf of myself and the  Committee.   If you didn't come you missed something special but this is just the beginning, it was lovely to gather with the other clubs, new friendships were made and we are sure we all gained from last night.

Cheers Anna and the crew, Tony Hall, Helen Moore, Kevin Chong,  Fiona Collins, Kathryn Nobbs, Karey Walker, Kevin Akers, Zhen Yang and the wonderful Eric Chiu.
