Tools of the Trade

Here is a wonderful chance to try your environmental portraits with your subject using his/her tools of trade. The tools of trade must play a major roll in your image so should be your COI. You could perhaps put your tools in the foreground with the user behind them, even blurred slightly. Think outside the box and do something different.  Your subject matter is endless with an enormous variety of “Tools of the trade” ranging from a computer to a bulldozer. Black and white often works well in these shots. Make sure there is some connection or interaction between the tools and the user.
